Family caregivers have to take care of themselves physically and emotionally or they risk being unable to effectively support their families. You need to care for the caregiver!


It is easy to become overwhelmed and stressed. That's why it is critical to stay healthy and to reach out for support from family, friends, and professional caregivers. No single person, no matter how dedicated, can do it all. Everyone has a role to play and you need to be strong enough to call for help when you need it. You may be part of the sandwich generation, but that doesn't mean you have to be crushed in the middle.
